The Church School
COLLECTIVE WORSHIP
As a Church of England School, we hold a daily act of Christian collective worship in school or in Church. Worship is led by members of staff, pupils and our rector Father Aran Beasley.
Parents are advised of their right to withdraw their children from daily collective worship; requests should be made to the Headteacher in writing.
SOMES TRUST
We are very fortunate to be able to make use of a trust which was set up for 'the benefit of the children of the village'. The Somes Trust pays for all the costs of swimming tuition and transport to and from the swimming pool. It also subsidises the cost of school outings. Recently, the Trust has provided money for residential visits to Norfolk, a variety of other outings and books for Year 6 leavers. The Trust is administered by the incumbent and churchwardens of Uffington Church.
