World Book Day Celebrations
Bedtime stories, hot chocolate and cookies!
We have celebrated World Book Day in school today. The children and staff came to school dressed ready for a bedtime story or as a character from a bedtime story while raising money for the homeless in Peterborough. The School Council felt that this was a worthy cause to help us to give thanks for the comfortable homes that we all enjoy. This afternoon, the children enjoyed a story carousel, visiting each class in turn to listen to stories read by the teachers. The day was finished with hot chocolate and delicious cookies baked this morning by Years 5 and 6 - great idea School Council!
