Uffington Church of England Primary School

Preparing for the future; living life in all its fullness

Happy Easter!

Everyone at Uffington School wishes you a very Happy Easter...

The end of term is here at last! We have had a busy week with the School Council raising nearly £80 for the victims of Cycone Idai by organising a 'Crazy Hair Day' on April Fools' Day.

This morning the KS1 children have run a wonderful community coffee morning. They did a fantastic job of serving our visitors and everyone enjoyed the raffle which raised £65.

This year's Easter project was entitled 'Roll the Stone' in which the children have painted Easter-themed pebbles which have formed a pop-up exhibition in school this morning and will be used to decorate the church for Easter. The children have created some wonderful pieces which have been greatly admired by their friends, staff and our visitors. As Easter falls so late this year, Fr Aran will lead an Easter Service for us on the first day of term - Tuesday 23rd April. Everyone is welcome to join us in Uffington Church at 2:30pm.

Finally, the governors' newsletter has been published today and can be accessed by clicking on the link below.

Have a wonderful Easter!

Mrs Simms
