Last week, children in Years 5 and 6 took part in an art workshop in preparation for the Stamford Georgian Festival. Artist, Nadya Monfrinoli, visited school to help the children make lanterns from cane and tissue paper to be carried in the re-enactment of the Stamford Bull Run which was an annual event until the early 1800s. The completed lanterns were lit by LED lights and were a spectacular sight on Saturday night's parade.
