Preparing for the future; living life in all its fullness

e-Safety

e-Safety is about the protection of children while they are using the internet and digital technologies. This includes: risk-taking and inappropriate behaviour by children and young people; risks and inappropriate behaviour by others to children and young people and other illegal activities associated with the use of the internet and digital technologies.

At Uffington School, we strive to empower children with the  knowledge to stay safe appropriate to their age and level of maturity but it is essential that parents and carers understand the risks and dangers too.

One of the main concerns we hear about as children's access to YouTube. Please open the following link for guidance on parental controls: YouTube Parental Restrictions | e-Safety Adviser (esafety-adviser.com)
