Welcome
Uffington Church of England Primary School is a thriving village school enjoying close links with the Church and community. Uffington lies two miles east of Stamford on the A16. The school is situated in a delightful rural setting; in a conservation area near the middle of the village and at the east end of the church.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide the very best in primary education in a caring family atmosphere, based upon a strong Christian ethos. Children are taught in small classes by well-qualified staff and our children achieve excellent academic results. Our children have the opportunity to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities and we are particularly committed to providing a wide range of educational visits to enhance the curriculum. OFSTED inspected the school in October 2008 and judged the school to be OUTSTANDING in 31 out of 33 areas. Ten per cent of schools nationally are judged to be Outstanding and the Senior School Improvement Partner for Lincolnshire commented that this inspection placed our school as 'Outstanding amongst the Outstanding'.
We are always delighted to meet prospective parents and although we hold regular open days, are happy to arrange a visit at any time. Should you decide to register your child, then may I welcome you and your family to our school community. We will do everything in our power to ensure that your child has a happy and successful time with us.
