Headteacher's Welcome

 Dear Parents,

On behalf of everyone at Uffington Church of England Primary School, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your family.

In our small village school, we pride ourselves on a strong sense of family which we believe contributes to the happiness and success of the children in our care.

This sense of family extends to our relationships with you as parents and carers and we look forward to working with you to enable your children to achieve their full potential in all aspects of school life. The staff, both teaching and non-teaching, is dedicated to supporting your children to ensure that they receive the best possible care and education.

I hope that this website will give you an insight into the life of Uffington School and illustrate what makes our school so special to those who teach, work and learn here.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs H Simms

Headteacher

For our KS2 trip this year we have been lucky enough to secure two sessions at the Sky Skills Studio in London.  Due to soaring travel costs, we have had to book both sessions for the same day which will mean being at school for 6.15am and not returning until approximately 7.00pm!

The trip will take place on Tuesday 3rd June and will cost £13.00.  The topic for the Y5/6 will be ‘Participation in Sport’ and Y3/4 it will be ‘Taking care of our world.’

The sky website can be found at http://skills.sky.com/studios/

More details and a request for payment will be sent out before the Easter break.  In the meantime if you have any questions please speak to me.
