Preparing for the future; living life in all its fullness

Another week in lockdown

A new term starts in lockdown...

It seemed very strange to spend the first day of the summer term sitting at my kitchen table rather than teaching Y5/6 but this is becoming our new 'normal'. I hope that everyone enjoyed the Easter break and spending time at home - we are so fortunate to live in an area with plenty of open space so that we can, at least, get out and about for our one form of daily exercise.

A huge thank you for all our families for engaging so readily with the home learning programme: we have inundated with photographs of all sorts of activities and samples of children's work which is testimony to your dedication to the education of your children in such challenging times. Please do continue to keep in touch; school is open most days depending upon the needs of our key worker parents but even when it isn't, staff are working full-time and really value working in partnership with you to support your children's learning.

Keep safe and well
